Could That Smell in Your Basement Be Mold?

In California, not many of us have basements, but they are ubiquitous in most of the rest of the country. We wish they were more so in tornado alley!

Basements, however are prime areas for mold to grow--they can be damp and warm, a perfect breeding ground.

If you have a basement, keep it dry. A dehumidifier is a great investment. Remember, there are mold spores everywhere. The only way to stop them from growing and causing damage is to not provide them with the thing they need most: moisture. If you have leaky walls or pipes, get them fixed and clean up any water right away. If mold gets away from you, call Alliance Environmental Group for prompt, professional mold removal!

We hope you had a Happy New Year and are looking forward to our 400th blog post next week as much as we are!
