Guest Post: An Unleaded Plan for Your Health

Heavy metal isn't just a genre of music, it's a widespread problem in our environment. Most houses built before 1978 contain lead paint, and our soil is still teeming with from the pre-unleaded gasoline days. Lead poisoning can cause anything from behavioral issues to organ failure, and exposure to unsafe levels of lead leads to life long health problems. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), along with third party remediation companies like Sevenson, are working to clean and remove lead from our environment. However, the dangers of lead still linger in many toys, homes, pipes, and other products.
