Asbestos Exposure Remains High

While doing some reading and joining discussions on Linked-in, I came across a book called Asbestos-The Future Risk by Barbara Hadley and Tom Rennell. In the United Kingdom asbestos has been banned but in other countries asbestos is still used. Asbestos is still used in several products and in several commercial buildings. An interesting fact from the book’s passage is that it is suggested that between 2009 and 2050 asbestos claims will cost the insurance industry around 11 Billion euros alone while in other countries the asbestos problem is just the beginning. Today’s children have a high increase chance of developing mesothelioma. It is a big concern for this generation and the upcoming generations to come.

According to asbestos.com, “The number of mesothelioma cases is expected to peak globally between 2015 and 2030. Mesothelioma can be linked to a history of asbestos exposure. This exposure can occur in the workplace, at home or from different products. In some case if asbestos fibers are inhaled or ingested the tiny fibers can get caught in the lining of the lungs and other internal organs. It is a serious case that everyone should take precaution of. Our Environmental Division at Alliance Environmental Group, Inc is a licensed asbestos removal company.
